Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph

After successfully launching the Aquis Depth Gauge in 2013, Oris is back with a self-winding chronograph version. The patented depth gauge hasn’t changed: water goes into the thick sapphire crystal via a milled channel system at 12 o’ clock then comes into contact with air compressed by the dive to create a watermark that corresponds to yellow depth gauge indications on the black dial. The dial’s nickel indices and hands (hour and minutes) are coated in white Super-LumiNova® whilst the chronograph seconds tick by beneath the central seconds hand. The minutes and hours appear in two counters displayed at 12 and 6 o’ clock, the latter also displays the understated date. The self-winding 774 calibre nestles in the 48mm steel case topped by a rotating bezel with a graduated black ceramic ring. Price: 4,900 CHF
