GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL – SENATOR CHRONOGRAPH DATE PANORAMA

CASUAL SPORTY STYLE

The flyback chronograph is making a comeback in the Senator collection. New style, new substance…The German brand has brought us a seriously elegant evolution.

Glashütte Original treated its collections to a stylish chronograph with a new in-house calibre in 2014. Its platinum or red gold case gave it its very own personality. This year the German brand has brought us an evolution in the Senator Chronograph Date Panorama with a more “democratic” steel case. The first models may have stood out for their classic design but the new one is more modern and its exemplary use of colour sets it apart. Inscriptions printed in white clearly stand out from the black dial. These are the chronograph and date counters. The contrast is heightened by the generous use of blue SuperLuminova coating the hour, minute and seconds hands, markers and Roman numerals at 6 and 12. Perfect timekeeping even in the dark!

The 42mm steel case switches between polished and satin finishes and houses the same 37-01 chronograph movement as the first models. It provides the watch wearer with a comfortable 70-hour power reserve. The movement designed by Glashütte measures short time with ease using a flyback mechanism and chronograph counter at 12.

There’s a choice of three straps for the Senator Chronograph Date Panorama. The black calfskin one has blue stitching to match the hands whilst the rubber and steel straps ramp up the watch’s sporty style.

Price: 13,700 € (calfskin strap) – 14,900 € (steel strap)
