Once again, Richard Mille proves to us that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication (Leonardo da Vinci). The RM62-01 Tourbillon Alarm ACJ proposes a discreet alternative to the traditional chimes of watch complications. The result of the second cooperation with Airbus Corporate Jets, this timepiece vibrates on demand to the nearest minute thanks to an impressive alarm which has been five years in the making. The off-center dial at 4:40 enables it to be adjusted. It also has its own dedicated barrel to power it. Pressing 12 times on the pusher at 8 o’clock ensures it lasts for 12 seconds. An indicator at 7 o’clock provides the owner with further information about the remaining power reserve.

The Le Locle-based manufacturer is celebrating the anniversary of its high frequency movement with a special edition, created in collaboration, and for, fine watchmaking club Collective.

To celebrate 50 years of the El Primero movement, Zenith has just unveiled a limited edition, produced in collaboration with American club Collective, founded by Gabe Reilly and Asher Rapkin, exclusively for its membership of keen watch collectors. The latter is made up of creatives, managers and manufacturers, many of whom work in the tech industry and live in Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area, in New York City and in Silicon Beach, Los Angeles. The Chronomaster El Primero C.01 is recognizable by the carefully selected tones of its dial, housed in a 38 mm steel case with a polished satin finish. Gone are the traditional colors of the original. The grey and white selected create a streamlined aesthetic, despite the presence of the chronograph and small second counters. On this stylish dial, the time markers, encircled by a tachymeter scale, remain clearly legible in all light conditions thanks to the use of blue Super-LumiNova® throughout.

Tudor is taking full advantage of the Rugby World Cup which is currently taking place in Japan to launch a chronograph in the color of the famous New Zealand’s team jersey.

As partner of New Zealand’s national rugby team, Tudor is proposing to rugby fans a limited edition of its Black Bay Chrono model completely decked out in the renowned color of the All Blacks. The 41 mm steel case is finished with a black PVD-treated coating (Physical Vapor Deposition) and a satin-brushed finish. This color is also used on the dial, the pushers, the crown and on the steel bracelet complete with a folding buckle.

This figure corresponds to the number of players who have worn the jersey with the silver fern since the creation of the team in 1884 and it will grow as players are selected on the pitch during the World Cup. The majestic bird of prey with sharp powerful claws has turned its piercing gaze to the collections of the Geneva-based brand, inspiring three generations of men to create a new timepiece.

Chopard’s current co-president, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, is proud to bring back a contemporary version of the St Moritz, the first piece that he created in the 1980s, today reinterpreted and renamed Alpine Eagle in homage to the majestic bird of prey which flies over the mountains.

This disk is available in royal blue or taupe gray, or Tahitian pearl for the women’s versions, with a silver or gold chapter ring, composed of index markers and Roman numerals covered with Super-LumiNova®. The time display is indicated by a pair of baton-shaped hands, also luminescent, and a second hand with a counterweight inspired by the silhouette of an eagle’s feather.

After the Moon, Louis Moinet continues in the exploration of our solar system. With the Mars collection, the ateliers put “the Earth’s little sister” on your wrist.

The red planet may be a distant 76 kilometres from the Earth, but Louis Moinet can take us part of the way with a sample extracted from a meteorite detached from its surface. With Mars, it’s not just a simple morsel, here housed in a capsule at 3 o’clock, which has been integrated into the dial. Reliefs created with craftsmanship faithfully reproduce the eponymous planet’s chaotic surface and legendary volcanoes such as Olympus Mons and Ascraeus Mons. This copper theme is also found on the oscillating weight with a concentric “Clou de Paris” finish, visible through the back of the case. It is offered in two versions, 12 pieces in rose gold and 60 in steel, which have the respective diameters of 45.4mm and 43.2mm. Mars is also the brand’s first watch to show indexes shaped as Roman numerals. Sparkling and shiny, they seem to be suspended in this sidereal universe. The whole is marked by hour and minute hands in definite style. A small second hand, off-center at 9 o’clock, completes the stellar face.
